The region we live in has employment potential in many areas, primarily tourism, mining, aquaculture, energy, fishing, etc. For this reason, our region is among the districts with the highest migration in Turkeyand ranks 5th in Turkey with a net migration rate of 13%. Our institution has the highest number of trainees in the province of Muğla. 88% of our learner profile consists of female trainees. The percentage of female trainees who have dropped out of school early and migrated to our region from eastern provinces is 38%. These individualshave a great need for the qualified basic skills development training provided by our institution. The absenteeism rate of these individuals from courses is around 74%.Among the main reasons for absenteeism, trainees stated that- 74% of them experienced significant learning loss due to a few absences caused by their work life and living conditions;- 75% stated that classes were only held in face-to-face environments and were not supported by online environments,- 8% stated that they were able to use technological devices effectively in the learning process,- 85% stated that the classes were boring and did not attract their attention sufficiently because they were taught using traditional methods.
