Regarding our teachers:
-Only 6% of our teachers use digital technologies in their lessons.
-Only 2% use the flipped classroom method, which is an effective teaching method for preventing absenteeism.
-Our educational activities have been disrupted due to the very low level of knowledge among educators about the educational digital technologies and methods that would enable them to continue their courses during the pandemic,
-The internationalization of the institution will increase the foreign language skills of our employees, our stakeholders will become more familiar with EU culture and values, and in the future, they will be able to establish sustainable strategic partnerships with EU institutions.
-It has been observed that 94% of our staff are unaware of the ERASMUS+, EPALE, and SELFIE tools and do not recognize EU values. Effective and efficient learning environments based on the constructivist approach can be developed with today's digital tools. Although the use of technology is widespread in the pedagogical approach, this is very limited in adult education. There are very few examples of the flipped learning model being applied in the field of adult education. We will acquire the necessary skills for this method through a structured course. By closely examining the model implemented in an adult school that is very similar to our institution in terms of capacity and objectives, with which we plan to collaborate at the EU level, we will be able to carry out more active and lasting teaching activities by transferring part of the lessons to online learning environments using the flipped learning method. Our trainees can also experience learning in their home or work environments. The targeted gains in this project are: - Strengthening the basic digital skills of trainers and trainees and their ability to use innovative pedagogical methods - Our institution will become a more preferred, high-quality educational institution for adults, contributing to the EU targets outlined in “The EU Pillar of Social Rights Action Plan,” which aims to have 60% of adults participate in learning activities each year and increase the digital skills of 80% of the 16-74 age group.
